Move it, Shake it, Celebrate: WDW day 4

We were half way through the trip today and a slower morning was very much needed, these park days are so exhausting and despite quite early nights I was definitely in need of a lay in and had a good 11 or so hours, waking around 9 and slowly got ready to go do some shopping at Disney Springs, I was out the door around 10.30 and at Disney Springs about 20 minutes later.

Move it, Shake it, Celebrate: WDW day 3

Day 3 was meant to get off to an early start as it was Epcot's 35th anniversary and I knew it would be busy but sleep seemed more important when it came down to it and despite being in bed an asleep not long after 9pm I woke up later than I initially wanted to, I got ready and was on my way by 8.30, a bus came straight away but due to traffic because everyone in the area seemed to be heading into Epcot today, I didn't get in the park till around 9.15, despite the traffic though I was expecting long lines at bag check but it wasn't too bad at all and moved very quickly.

Walt Disney World: All Stars Sports Resort

And just like that another Disney World trip is sadly over, this time I did however manage yet another new resort which took my total up to 9 and means I'm almost halfway to putting a tick by another thing on my Disney bucket list, staying at every WDW resort

Move it, shake it, celebrate: WDW day 2

Apologies my 2nd post has taken till now to get up, I always have the intention of live blogging on my trips but tiredness just doesn't let me, after a day in the parks I can barely concentrate enough to find my way back to my room and get into bed, let alone write a blog posts so apologies for that but I'm home now, and although extremely tired and unwell I'm going to try my best to get them up over the next week or so, now on with the next post from my latest trip.

Move it, shake it, celebrate: WDW day 1

Hello from the most magical place on earth, Walt Disney World and I can't believe I'm actually writing that but I am here, I'm home and it feels wonderful. There's not many things that feel as amazing as that first morning waking up in a Disney bed and after being absolutely exhausted last night and fast asleep not long after 10, I woke up as always at a crazy hour but thankfully fell back to sleep and woke up again at a more respectable time of 7am.

I've been keeping a secret...

I don't even know how I've managed this as I am awful and I mean the absolute worst at keeping surprises, I really struggle to keep things like this in but this time, well I've had to because I just didn't want to ruin it.

Disney Magic in the Med: Part 5

Today we were meant to dock in Villefranche which was a port I was quiet looking forward to, it certainly looked the most pretty and I was hoping to meet a Prince in Monte Carlo ;) but unfortunately due to adverse weather we were told on the previous night we'd be having a day at sea instead and docking in Marseille on Friday, yeah not quite the same but it's weather and you can't do anything about it.

Disney Magic in the Med: Part 4

We woke up to another beautiful sunny day, yay I could get some sunbathing done and having nothing to get up for we decided we deserved a nice lie in today. Today's port was close to Pisa & Florence and I was only fussed about getting a photo looking like I was holding the leaning tower of Pisa up, yeah I know roll your eyes haha but it wasn't as easy to get to the train station as Rome and as Sammy & Lottie had both visited previously we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to take advantage of a quiet ship.

Disney Magic in the Med: Part 3

It seems every morning gets harder and harder to pull yourself out of the Disney Cruise beds, I don't think I've ever mentioned it before but they're ridiculously comfortable, but we managed because our tummies were screaming for food and Rome was calling our names.

Disney Magic in the Med: Part 2

Monday was our first stop, Naples and although I didn't actually have anything set in stone about getting off the ship I was planning on finding out how easy it was to visit Sorrento from the port, however the weather put a stop to that and when Sammy returned to the room to grab a jacket before heading off on her excursion she informed us that it was grey, very grey out and horribly wet, definitely not what I signed up for.

Disney Magic in the Med: Part 1

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you'll probably know I spent last week on the Disney Magic, my 3rd Disney cruise and had an absolute blast. A week spent with wonderful friends, stupid amounts of food and cast members who deserve constant praise.

Small business spotlight: Ears Ever After

It's been a while since I last did a post on small businesses, which as you may know I love to support when I can, this is mainly because I've been doing an extremely good job of not spending when it's not a necessity in order to save for another trip to Disney World. However, a couple of weeks ago I broke than spending ban because I couldn't resist some beautiful new ears for my cruise.

My favourite photo spots in London

Now I've started to slowly find the confidence to take outfit photos and venture to pretty locations, posing for photos, getting those 'it was a candid shot, honest' photos and all the while far too many people have been walking past and no doubt thinking 'what an absolute twat' yeah, this taking photos in very public and busy areas can be embarrassing but needs must if you really want to get those photos, do these feelings ever fade completely with the more you do this?

London eats: The Breakfast Club

If you know me then you'll likely know that one of my favourite activities is to eat and to each as much as possible because let's face it, there isn't much more enjoyable in life than food. After dinner, brunch is probably my favourite meal of that day which actually makes the fact that I don't tend to go out for it as often as I should and I'm determined to change this.

My Las Vegas must do's

Last year I posted about my favourite holiday destination after Disney, the amazing and unique place that is Las Vegas, it's somewhere that has been playing on my mind quite a bit recently because I have such an urge to return but I've promised myself that I need to try new places, explore new states and countries rather than being a serial holiday repeater, yeah I know I keep going back to Disney but that's different right, right?

I'd hate to imagine a life without you

Do you have something in your life, not a person but a place, a film, a song, just something that really means something to you and is always there for you, something that no matter how down you are, how hard life seems to be treating you, it helps, it gets you through and makes you smile again? I do, and for me, it's Disney, of course it is, you didn't expect me to say anything else surely ;)

Makeup for those park days

One question I see getting asked quite often on Twitter is 'what makeup does everyone wear at the parks?' and it gets such a variety of responses, from some people who don't bother with it to the other end of the scale and those who still wear a full face, no matter the temperature.

Happiness in July

Is there anything to possibly stop time right now because this year is passing much faster than I'd like it to, I honestly cannot believe we're now in August already and at this rate, we'll be blinking at it will be Christmas again, I dread the thought.
0

My favourite photo spots in Disneyland

Disney trips have become more than running around the parks in whatever outfit I wake up and decide to put on that day, of course I am still there for the magic, the fun, the rides, the atmosphere and all the important things I've always visited for but the past year or so the photo opportunities have played a huge part in my trips, carefully planning outfits around what characters I'll be hopefully meeting on that day or what areas I plan to get those all important shots to post to Instagram.
0

How do you afford Disney so often?

There's this one question I seem to get asked every time I mention I'm going or have booked another trip (usually to Disney, don't judge!) and to be honest I tend to find it a little rude and quite frankly none of anyones business, no offence meant there but it isn't is it? and that question is "how the heck can I afford to go away again" and the honest answer is, realistically I can't, well couldn't.

Dressed with confidence

This years Disney trips have given me something beyond the obvious of happy, fun times, they've given me confidence, not a crap load but they've really helped. I know I always talk about Disney on here, it is mainly a Disney focused blog after all but I do like to try and cover other topics too but it just so happens that sometimes, even those come back to Disney in some way.

Disney Wishlist

It's been some time since I've done a Disney wishlist but there's is so much cute stuff I've been eyeing up recently that I figured it was about time I shared some of it with you, just incase you want to part with your money for some lovely Disney goodies too, because we all like to spend on Disney, don't we?
I've actually been so good with spending recently, well good for me anyway and despite lusting over all these things and more I have managed to not purchase anything Disney related for a month or more which is really good going, let's see how long this all stays on my wishlist and not added to 'oops, I caved and purchased it' list, like most things I lust over do.

Rapunzel Journal - I fell in love with this the moment it was released and to be honest I cannot believe I've still managed to resist it, it's so beautiful and being an absolute notebook hoarder and huge Rapunzel/Tangled fan I can't see this not welcoming itself into my home soon

Lillian & Co Bracelet - I can't remember when I first spotted these beauties on Instagram but it was quite some time ago now and my eyes instantly popped open with love hearts in, I'm a sucker for Disney jewellery anyway but when it comes with some of my favourite Disney film quotes then I'm 100% sold

Mickey & Minnie flip flops - with another Disney cruise fast approaching, I am currently on the look out for necessities and these adorable flip flops definitely fit in that category, a girl needs some cute Disney footwear to go from the pool to the buffet every hour ;)

The Little Mermaid pyjamas - I used to love Primark for their Disney pjs but I'm finding the print is washing off faster than usual lately and it's making me look elsewhere for others, they might be a little more expensive but the quality is not doubt better

Baymax Mug - because what would be a wishlist without a mug? some of you probably know by now what a mug addict I am and being a huge Baymax fan this one had to make my current wishlist, now if the kind present fairy could make this appear in my life that would be fab haha!

'A walk in the park' Dooney & Bourke bag - For years now I've had my eye on the Sketch pattern but every time I'm in Disney World I can never find a placement that I love, you'll know how important this is if you're fussy like me and because of this I've not ended up buying it but now I think I may have found a new pattern to lust over and search for next time I'm in the US parks

Win a trip to Disney World

You may remember I wrote an updated Disney bucket list not too long ago, which I'm sure is going to take some years to tick everything off, well that's even if I can as there are a few things listed that aren't really much of a possibility but I like to dream and how dull would a bucket list be if it was full of easily achievable things.

1

Things not to miss at Disney World

Disney World has been on my mind a lot recently, ok when isn't it? but it seems to be move than usual, the urge to get back to a place that feels like home and filled with happiness seems greater than ever and with my annual pass just sitting there and knowing I could just jump on a flight and walk into the parks without worrying about the cost of a ticket isn't helping.
0

But you don't look sick...

I considered not writing this post, of course I did because when it comes to holidays, clothes and other simple things I've wrote posts about, it comes so easily, make it personal and something that has a huge effect on my life and I suddenly feel nervous, I prefer to lock it all in rather than share the vulnerable, serious and quite honestly, more negative side of my life.

1

My ASOS summer wishlist

Summer is not only my favourite season for the beautiful weather, long light days and all the ice cream a girl can encounter but it's also my favourite for shopping too, gone are the heavy coats that drive me crazy when trying to drive, the dark colours in literally everything, hello shops but just because it's dull out that doesn't mean your clothes have to be too and quite frankly, I love that I don't need 5 tops piled on for when I'm outside and then walk inside and feel like I'm going to pass out because said layers plus stores heating is just a horrible combo.

Fun things to do in London

I don't know if it's just me but, you live somewhere and you just take everything that place has for granted because it's on your doorstep. I so often think about all the places I want to visit, look for things to do around the UK and when I do so, it's never 'at home' it's always a long drive, train ride or even a flight away. Yes, I am terrible for forgetting about all the fun stuff my actual home city offers me and living in the capital of not only England but the UK, there's a lot of fun things right on my doorstep being missed out on.

5 TV shows I watch over again

I'll be honest, maybe it's an age thing but gone are the days or rather nights full of cocktails, wine and dancing till gone 3am, ok I don;t know who I'm trying to kid but they've been gone so long that I can't even remember them and we're not even in the same decade anymore.

Things not to be missed at Disneyland

My trip to Disneyland last month, which you can read about here, was my 3rd visit to Walt's original vision and I feel like I've now visited enough times to start being able to give my views and opinion on those must do's, the things to not be missed, the things to by pass and most importantly the food to eat because we all know that along with those ideal photo spots that food is up there with being one of the most important parts of a trip
1

Travel doesn't have to be expensive

I won't lie, when it comes to saving money or cutting costs I'm not exactly the best, I'll admit it, I'm just not frugal with money and I probably should be, well definitely better than I am anyway but well, you know life happens and those shoes and that dress are far more better sitting in my wardrobe ready to be worn than still sat in a shop with me wishing I owned them.
1

Happiness in May

Ooh would you look at that, I'm actually back with a 'Happiness in...' post after missing yet another one last month but it's not bad going by my standards as I've only missed 2 months since starting them last July.

5 places I'm dreaming about this summer

I know a lot of the time I'm either talking about going on holiday, being on holiday or the need to book a holiday but holidays are more than just time away from home for me, since I can remember they've always felt like my escape from reality, a holiday from my health and although they never actually are because if you've got a chronic illness then you'll know, we can never get a real break from those.

Summer bucket list

The past week it finally feels like summer may have made an appearance, the weather has been so lovely, the evenings are so light again and it might just be safe to hang the jacket back up for a while. I love summer, it's certainly my favourite time of year and just makes me feel so much cheerier than I do at other times of the year, I just hope the good weather lasts longer than a couple of weeks.

The happiest trip on earth: Disneyland day 5

Waking up on your last Disney day is never fun, being at Disney however is lots of fun and so I woke up on our last Disney day with a little sadness but also excitement for another fun filled day in the parks. It was another race morning for Lottie so she was not there when I woke up and not wanting to leave before she got back to the room so I could congratulate her, and ask my 50 million questions, I chilled in bed for a while and took advantage of the useless wifi.

The happiest trip on earth: Disneyland day 4

We had reached day 4 so quickly and seemed to be approaching the end of our trip in a cruel, speedy manor and I was not impressed. That's the horrible thing about Disneyland trips, they flash by so much quicker than Disney World ones, mainly because you don't seem to stay as long due to there only being two parks which means you can see everything or mostly everything in a much speedier time.

0

Dressed in Disney

One of my favourite things in the run up to Disney trips is outfit planning and normally I leave myself a good amount of time to put thought into them, find pieces I need and carefully plan them around which parks I'll be visiting, what characters I'll be meeting and so on when wearing each one.

0

The happiest trip on earth: Disneyland day 3

Today's fun started at California Adventure and we were in the park for opening, this of course meant facing the stampede of people grabbing fast passes for Radiator Springs Racer and well, if you can't beat them then join them, so we did just that before heading to Flo's V8 Cafe for breakfast.

0

The happiest trip on earth: Disneyland day 2

Jet lag obviously trying to destroy us we were up about 7am today, I guess the Disney excitement was also partly to blame and by just after 9am were in the Disneyland park with one aim for this morning, to head straight to Toontown for opening in hope that it's nice and quiet to take some fun photos, no to mention to advantage of the gorgeous blue sky which doesn't seem to be a common thing during the morning in Anaheim .

The happiest trip on earth: Disneyland day 1

I had every intention of writing a live trip report (yeah, I know you've heard it all before) and I'm back with the same excuse, tiredness just takes over but the end of the evening and I can barely make it back to the hotel room and get my makeup off without passing out so there's no way writing a post is likely but surprise I am here now as we've come back to the hotel earlier tonight as Lottie as a crazy early start so I figured I'd treat you all to the fun of our first day.

Adventure to Disneyland

I remember my last evening last September in Disneyland (which you can read about here) so well, the feelings of excitement to get to Orlando the next day and for the next part of that amazing Disney trip, but more so, the feelings of sadness. I felt so sad to be leaving a park that feels so special, because as much as I love Disney World, we know I do, there is something so special about Disneyland.

What's in my hand luggage

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you may know I'm off to Disneyland next week, if you're not following me then you should be by the way ;) and this of course means it's time to pack again, does anyone else actually hate packing? it used to be an exciting part of the pre trip for me but now it just seems such a chore.

A life without children

It's not often I write personal posts, in fact it's almost unheard of but recently I've seen a few tweets and posts on various places that have, shall we say, annoyed me a little or quite honestly, damn right pissed me of with their insensitive words.

3

Disney Store turns 30

Let's be honest, it's pretty clear how much Disney is a huge part of my life, it's my blogs main focus and if you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you'll know how much my posts are focused on the love of my life too and if I'm not on a Disney holiday then I'm almost certain to be at least planning one.
1

My Disney bucket list

Back when Belle's Moments was pretty new, I wrote a post, a very short post in fact which thinking back I've no idea why or even how I managed it, you see the post was my Disney bucket list and now that list should have been quite long but I was obviously trying to be refrained with it. But now I'm back with a more realistic one, well realistic in length anyway because some of the things that are about to be featured on this list may never be realistic to achieve, but one can dream

Today's special moments are tomorrow's memories: Disney World day 9

Today we headed back to my favourite park at Disney World after Magic Kingdom, yep we were back off to Animal Kingdom for more Safari fun and trying to escape that dreaded yeti in one piece, would we survive?

2

Today's special moments are tomorrow's memories: Disney World day 8

Day 8 of our trip got off to a speedy, rock filled start as we headed to Hollywood Studios for our early FP booking for Rock n Roller coaster, it was certainly a good way to make sure you're wide awake and not feeling sleeping at the start of the day.

0

Today's special moments are tomorrow's memories: Disney World day 7

We woke up wondering how on earth we'd been in the Disney bubble a week already, it had been such an amazing week so far and couldn't have been going more perfect, but enough of the dwelling about the trip going too fast because not only were we hitting the shops, but we were also having breakfast at one of my favourite breakfast spots on property, Grand Floridian Cafe.
1

Today's special moments are tomorrow's memories: Disney World day 6

Today was officially the point where we were past the half way point of the trip and I don't know about you but it's always at this point the rest of a holiday seems to whizz by for me and I don't like it but anyway, enough of the dwelling because we still had another 5 nights at the most magical place on earth to enjoy.

Disneyland: my must do's

With another trip to Disneyland rapidly approaching, yeah I can't believe I'm actually saying that either, a 3rd visit to the park where I can walk in Walt's footsteps and it all began. This is without a doubt my most spontaneous trip to Disney and trying to get everything sorted, including outfits which I normally spend a good few months planning has been, well a little stressful but completely worth it

0

Today's special moments are tomorrow's memories: Disney World day 5

Day 5 was such an early start, ok who am I trying to kid? it was a crazy early start for Lottie as she was running the Princess 10K but for me that meant a nice chilled morning in bed as our day wouldn't start till late morning with a breakfast I'd really been looking forward to.
