Disney Christmas Wishlist

Come Christmas time my Disney wishlist is always bigger than any other time of year, partly due to the fact that from around October I don't tend to buy myself any Disney items incase friends and family have picked them up for me for Christmas, instead I drop lots of hints about all the lovely things I've been lusting over in hope they'll have the sense to listen ;) and partly because it seems to be the best time of year for it all, I especially love all the Christmas decorations The Disney Store get in.

Christmas wishlist

Why is it that all year round your wishlist grows like crazy almost on a weekly basis, every time you go on the internet you add another 5 items to it, you go window shopping and spot at least something in every shop and then christmas roles around and nothing. Your mind is blank and it seems when trying to come up with ideas to give others of gifts you like, there's just nothing you can find, well apart from that £1000+ handbag that no relative or friend has won the lottery to be able to afford for you.

Disney travels: It's a Fantasy come true...part 2

I'm finally back to share about the second half of my cruise, it feels like so long ago now that we were onboard and having the time of our lives, why does time after Disney trips go even faster than usual? the post Disney blues are still here though, there's still so many moments I just wish I could rewind time and be back on that holiday or enjoying the excitement in the run up to it but now it's just the memories that are left.

The truth about traveling solo

Back in September you may remember I boarded an 11 hour flight to spend 4 nights trying out solo travel, if you haven't read all about the trip itself just pop here. I'd flown on my own before but not for anything longer than about 2 hours, although I had no fears or even little worries about that but actually being on holiday on my own was a bit of a huge step for me.

A day in St Thomas

Some years ago I was sat watching a film, Weekend at Bernie's 2, it's one of those silly early 90's films that are stupidly unrealistic and silly but you find yourself watching and giggling at anyway. A large part of the film is based in St Thomas, US Virgin islands and since then I decided I had to definitely visit one day so when trying to decide between the Eastern and Western Caribbean itinerary for our cruise, spotting that the Eastern stopped there was a big pull towards that one.

Happiness in October

This month has been a rather quiet one for me, not too much has been going on and not to mention October is always a bit of a tough month for me, it's the month my aunt passed away in, also the month I had both my miscarriages and the month that my life started to be turned upside down a few years back, so safe to say it's probably one of the least favourite months of the year.
