20 facts about my Disney life

Amy from Cocktails in teacups tagged me about 2 months ago to do this Disney tag and to be honest I'm disgusted in myself that it has taken me so long but better late than never isn't it? You can read Amy's 20 facts here if you haven't already.

I've loved reading posts from fellow Disney bloggers who've already done this tag, it's interesting to see what they say and also a great way to learn more about their 'Disney life' so, now it's time to share 20 facts about my very own Disney life

1. I didn't visit a Disney park till I was an adult, I was 21 and spent an amazing week in WDW but I'm now more than making up for missing out as a child

2. I'm obsessed with wanting to give any pets Disney names and once had a hamster called Disney. I've now got a cat called Minnie

3. It doesn't matter how many times I've watched Wishes or will in the future, I will forever get a lump in my throat and tear in my eye while doing so

4. I'm not really a fan of the villains at all and am very much team good

5. Despite Belle being in most of my social media names and even this blog she isn't my favourite character, Minnie Mouse is and I struggle to not buy everything with her on

6. My kitchen is very Minnie Mouse themed, if it doesn't have her face on it's at least red & white polka dot

7. There's not a single room in my home that doesn't have something Disney, even if it's very subtle it is there

8. My mum nicknamed me Sleepy throughout my teenage years and still continues to call me it now, I'm sure I don't need to explain why :)

9. I have 2 Disney tattoo's. Believe in Disney couture font on my wrist & a key with Minnie's bow and castle on my back

10. I cannot hear people talking about Walt and the history of Disney without tearing up

11. I can't remember the first Disney movie I saw but do remember the first one I saw at the cinema being The Lion King which to this day is still an absolute favourite of mine

12. I spent my 30th birthday on a Disney cruise because I couldn't think of a more perfect way to celebrate than with Mickey, Minnie & the gang!

13. I once thought I'd never be able to return to a Disney park because I got engaged at Disneyland California and married at Disney World and the relationship is no more but in actual fact my trip to WDW last year helped me really kick start a happier outlook on life again and recover from heartbreak after a dreadful year

14. I spend a heck of a lot of time planning my outfits and park time in the run up to my trips and fully enjoy every moment of it

15. One of my dream jobs is to be Belle in the Beauty & The Beast show in Hollywood Studios, however I cannot sing, dance or act nor am I tall enough so that will forever stay just a dream

16. I don't collect many obvious Disney things like Tsum Tsums, Funko Pop's and Traditions but I'm obsessed with buying Disney mugs to the point they don't all fit in my kitchen cupboard and I hoard Disney notebooks

17. The only books I read are Disney ones

18. My love for Disney just seems to be growing and growing the older I get and there is not an ounce of shame in me nor do I think there should be

19. Flynn Rider is my dream man, no I'm not kidding!

20. I'm so thankful for the amazing friends I've made in the Disney community due to our mutual love

I'm sure nearly everyone has already done this tag but if you're reading this and are a Disney fan then I tag you
