5 favourite: Spring lipsticks

Hello lovely readers, isn't it nice now that Spring has finally arrived? well apart from the rain that it seems to have brought with it but at least we have the light evenings. The arrival of Spring means a slight change in makeup for me, mostly my lipstick colours. I switch out those deep colours for pretty peach and neutral pink shades and I wanted to share 5 of my favourites.
Of course I have quite a few lipsticks I love so narrowing down to just 5 is quite difficult but with lots of careful consideration, these were my picks.

MAC Lovelorn - The most true pink shade of my choices and a gorgeous spring pink it is, it does have those cool tones which aren't my favourite for my skin tone but thankfully they're not too bad and they do help your teeth to look whiter so they have their plus points for me. The formula is lovely, sheer but very buildable and my favourite part is the nice shiny finish.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine 15 - I absolutely love these YSL lipsticks, the packaging is so pretty and the colours are gorgeous. This is probably my favourite of the 5 I have, I love how soft and glossy they are but I just wished they lasted longer on the lips, considering the cost of them it's not great having to reapply every couple of hours and they certainly don't last through a drink or meal but sometimes prettiness wins over things like that.

MAC Coral Bliss - This is one of my overall favourite lipsticks ever, the colour is just gorgeous and the fact that it's a Cremesheen formula makes it just perfect to me. I love that there's no shimmer or frost in it and the colour is buildable. It's honestly the most easy to wear, everyday perfect coral shade, if you're going to buy one lipstick this Spring I encourage you to check this one out.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine 69 Flirt - Like the YSL lipsticks the staying power on these aren't amazing but another thing in common with the YSL ones is the gorgeous forumula, so soft and shiny although they are quite opaque which could be a good thing for the more brighter shades as it means you can have a still wear the amazing shades without having full on bright lips. I'd probably say these win me over a little more than the YSL ones.

MAC Fanfare - Another cremesheen was bound to make it in my list, as I said I love this formula for the MAC lipsticks and this is another of my overall favourite MAC lipsticks, in fact I seem to be wearing it non stop at the moment, it's my perfect everyday pink for Spring.
